BHMC is an emerging Jewish community in Brighton & Hove that operates under the umbrella of the Masorti movement. Our services follow traditional liturgy in a fully egalitarian setting that is both vibrant and participative. Formed with a founding ethos of inclusivity, we actively welcome people of all backgrounds and ages, including people of colour, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent or disabled individuals, and interfaith couples. We hold regular, lay-led Kabbalat Shabbat services on the second Friday of each month, and Saturday morning services roughly every 3 months.
